Precipitation is in the forecast as AccuWeather predicts mixed rain and snow late tonight with a chance of flurries into Tuesday evening. Tuesday’s predicted high temperature in the Iron Mountain area is 38 degrees.
There looks to be two streaks of very heavy winter rain over one inch. A streak of heavy rain is expected from Kalamazoo to Jackson, Ann Arbor and Oakland County. The second area of heavy rain looks like it will fall over northern Lake Michigan into the eastern half of the Upper Peninsula.
